Your food or drink can save lives!
On September 18, 2010, Atlanta Animal Rescue Friends will host “219: The Taste,” a benefit to raise awareness and much-needed funds to address the pet overpopulation in Atlanta at Callanwolde Fine Arts Center. The evening will feature 219 different flavors of food and drink, each representing one dog or cat who will have lost his or her life in a county shelter that day in the Atlanta metropolitan area. The program will feature tastings from some of Atlanta’s top restaurants, caterers, wineries and breweries.
Last year’s event, “219: The Show,” was one of Atlanta’s top fundraising events in 2009. The event received local and national press coverage, and has continued to receive national recognition, most recently on Animal Planet’s “Pit Boss”. In addition, AARF was recognized as “Best Animal Welfare Organization” by Atlanta Magazine, bringing significant local attention to our organization. We anticipate that this event will be a highlighted fall fundraising event.
Your participation will give you a chance to highlight your place of business, and will help us save more lives!
