I like to say I’m 7 years “young” because I’m a little dog (I weigh about 25 pounds), and that means I’m going to have a good long life. Hi everyone. My name is Chloe, and am a sweet, sweet American bulldog/boxer mix! I love to play with my toys and go for walks. I also really enjoy being snuggled and brushed. My foster mom says I am very good on my walks, and I always let her know when I need to go outside. I was found wandering around the rain by myself, and I am so glad I ended up with the AARF folks. They have helped me get healthy, although the vet says I have a small heart murmur. It doesn't slow me down, though! I am a happy, healthy, active girl, and I am just waiting for a forever home. Hi. My name is Suki. I have been staying with my foster mom for about 3 months now and I am having a blast. I get to go to work with my foster mom and play all day long with my canine friends. When I first arrived in my new surroundings I had just recovered from surgery on my back leg. Since then, I have regained so much strength back and it doesn't bother me at all now! I look forward to going home, having dinner and resting on my comfy bed after a long day of playing. I love going outside first thing in the morning and scoping out my surroundings for squirrels and birds. I love trying to chase them up the trees. My foster mom says I look like a gazelle, leaping around trying to take my best shot at tracking those rodents down. I walk nicely on my leash, unless one of those squirrels gets me excited. I also know not to do my business inside the house. I know the "sit" command very well and I'm working on learning others. I absolutely love my belly and my neck scratched and I will return the favor with lots of kisses. Now, all I need is someone who will love and take care of me forever!

Hi, I'm Minky, and I'm just about the cutest girl in town. I'm a corgi, beagle, German Shepherd mix (really, I am!) and I've got the cutest mix of parts. I was found wandering as a stray and just about to give up hope. A wonderful woman took me in and cared for me, and now AARF is taking great care of me. I've been spayed, had all of my shots, and I'm being treated for a skin infection that made me itchy. It's not contagious and I'm almost all better now. The doctors have given me a big thumbs up! I'm about 5 years old, so I have plenty of love to give, and love I do! I love everyone! I really like to be the center of attention, so I'd prefer to be the only fuzzy member of the household, and I'm just the right size--about 40 pounds and low to the ground! I'm the perfect little girl, just waiting for the perfect home. Is it with you??

Hi, I'm Ariel, like the little mermaid, only I am much smarter and cuter. My foster mom says I have learned a lot of impressive tricks, including sit, down, shake, wave, roll over, bang, "find-it" (finding hidden treats around a room or choosing which hand one is hidden in), and I am even learning to crawl. I love to play fetch and tug-of-war with my foster mom and dad, and I also love playing with my foster brothers and sisters. And of course, I love to snuggle. I had some health issues when I first came to AARF, but I am a happy and healthy gal now, and I am still waiting for my forever home. Maybe I am waiting for you.
