Be a Foster Parent for a Homeless Pet

We are always looking for loving foster homes for both dogs and cats. Many abandoned and abused animals are in need of a stable environment and patient attention. If you can provide a loving temporary home for a dog or cat, please fill out the form below and email or mail it to us. We will then contact you to schedule a visit to your home to talk more about your interest in fostering. Please see our FAQs link for any further questions. Atlanta Animal Rescue Friends (AARF) will determine the criteria for fostering, decide which animals will be fostered, and appoint foster caregivers from a pre-approved list. Approved foster care volunteers may always refuse any specific request because of timing or other reasons. AARF representatives will inform caregivers of any medical treatments to be given and any other expectations we have. You will be expected to keep the animal secure, return her to AARF when requested to do so, and not promise the animal to anyone, or imply the authority to approve a potential adoption. Each new placement will require a new, signed foster care contract. AARF will retain ownership of all animals in foster care, and will make all decisions regarding the adoption of the animals fostered. All adoptions will be handled by AARF representatives. Thank you for wanting to help!
