HI! I am a ten year old neutered male Norwegian Elk Hound named Mantra.
My owner died at the end of 2005 and I need a home. I have always had
another dog living with me, so I prefer a home with another dog. (I had
a dog buddy who died a month after my owner did..it was a rough 2005)
I get along with kitties too. I am a very good boy and would be a great
companion for you. I like going for rides, and walks, and just hanging
out with you. I am approx. 80 lbs., but I am currently on a diet to lose
15 lbs. I have a nice lady staying with me right now, but the house that
my owner and I shared will be sold soon, and I need a good home. Please

Lady is a German Pointer/Doberman(?)
mix. She is red/tan in color, weighs about 60 pounds, and is approximately
3 years old. She is healthy, very active, loves to hunt squirrels, chipmunks,
etc. She has a sweet disposition, but will bark ferociously when guarding
the property. She refuses to stay in our fenced yard. We have added additional
gate locks, placed concrete blocks on part of our deck rail, and nailed
shut the opening to our deck. Lady climbs the fence if necessary. We live
on an extremely busy street, losing a dog to the traffic years ago. I
have fibromyalgia (chronic pain and fatigue) and cannot chase after her.
Good Samaritans have rescued her and brought her home countless times.
Sadly, we cannot keep her any longer. Lady is spayed and is up to date
