Finally, we want to thank Christina and Jeff for giving Tiger Lily a loving and safe forever family. She has certainly found her place in this world!

Update, July 5, 2010

What a way to celebrate independence day! We are happy to announce that Tiger Lily has found her forever home. Her foster parents, Christina and Jeff, just couldn't let her go. When Christina sat down to write Tiger Lily's description for the AARF website, she realized that she had become a part of their family. So, Tiger Lily has joined Jeff and Christina, and their dog Violet for the rest of her life. Tiger Lily also gets to play with Chloe, another former AARF dog, when she hangs out with mom at work at Mom & Pups. (Christina's dad and partner at Mom & Pups adopted Chloe).

On behalf of Tiger Lily, we want to say thank you to so many people that helped her along the way. Dr. Grinenko, one of the veterinarians at DeKalb Animal Services, helped us evaluate Tiger Lily while she was still at the shelter. She also referred us to Dr. Corse at Northlake Veterinary Surgery, who thought it was worth giving surgery a chance. His amazing surgical skills helped turn this broken little puppy into a young girl that now runs, jumps and plays like any other dog. We also want to say a huge thank you to Dr. Nath at Buckhead Animal Clinic, who fostered Tiger Lily when she first came out of the shelter until her surgery. All of these veterinarians went above and beyond for this special little girl, and we could not have saved her without them.

We at AARF also need to express our most sincere gratitude for those of you that donated toward her care. Tiger Lily touched so many hearts, and so many of you helped with the cost of her surgery and rehabilitation. Many of you have kept up with her progress, and genuinely care about this sweet puppy that you have never met. Without YOU, Tiger Lily's story wouldn't exist. You are the ones that saved her life, and we are eternally thankful.
