Meet the Cats!
Athena is a beautiful and glamorous cat who came to us with her three babies (Juno, Flora and Apollo). She has loves a good chin scratch and purrs so loudly and makes happy biscuits just with some sweet talk from her people. Athena can be a little reserved with new people and is just learning how to play, but she is so sweet and loving!
Athena would do best in a home with adults or older children only. She gets along with other cats and would be a good companion for a family that has another adult cat. She would also do well in a home with one of her kittens (who are now as big as she is!).

Hi! My name is Caesar and I'd love to be your new furrever friend. I love my foster home. My foster parents are great and the food is wonderful. However, I'd love to have a furrever home of my own (or maybe with a cat who knows how to share).
Anyway, if you adopt me, I promise to talk to you every day about how things are going. I love to chat!!! I'm also a pretty superb aerial artist. I could be in Cirque de Soleil but my foster mom says they don't take guys my size (I'm also a bit uncomfortable around crowds, so it probably wouldn't be a great career choice for me). I also love to play tug. It's not just for dogs, you know!
If you think Caesar would be a good fit for your family, fill out an application today!
Flora is one of the Athena's amazing kittens, born in February 2021. Juno is a very playful and loving kitten, but can be very shy with new people, so she needs a patient and calmer family. She needs a playmate, so she needs to be adopted with one of her siblings or to a home with another cat around the same age. Flora would do best with older children or adults only and would probably not do well with dogs.
If you are interested in adopting or meeting Flora, fill out an application online here. Please note that visits to our cat adoption center are by appointment only after completing the adoption application.

Linus is one of the most loving cats you will ever meet. He's active and happy and enjoys a good game with a catnip mouse or kitty wand. When playtime is over, he loves nothing more than to curl up near you or in your lap and purr himself to sleep. He is a very striking dilute orange tabby and his fur is as soft as a bunny. Linus was born in 2009, so he is a senior guy.
Linus gets along well with his kitty roommate, Tito, but would also do well as an only cat Fill out an adoption application for Linus today!
Tito is a fairly chill, male, gray tabby who would love to hang out on your lap and receive soft pets while you tell him what a good and handsome boy he is. Tito is made to soak up the love, and this boy would do his best in a home without dogs or young children. Tito likes things on the calmer side, and he certainly can do well with a well-mannered kitty buddy. So, if you already have a cat, it is likely that Tito may get along just fine.
Tito does have special dietary needs due to skin and digestive issues, and he requires someone who can understand that he is indeed a special cat. But, if you invest time, energy, and the right diet into Tito, he will pay you back a hundred fold with love and devotion.
Tito gets along well with his kitty roommate, Linus, but would also do well as an only cat Fill out an adoption application for Tito today!
Harley was originally adopted as a kitten from a local shelter several years, When his mom suddenly passed away, Harley and his feline siblings joined the AARF adoption program. One of his feline brothers had been adopted and sadly, the third cat passed away from lymphoma.
Harley is a sweet boy who would prefer to be an only cat. He doesn't seem to do well with most other cats. He is a middle-aged guy, so no crazy kitten antics from this fluffy dude.

Nola - ADOPTION PENDING!!
Nola is one of the sweetest cats ever! This sweet 3-5 year old girl was at a local shelter with her 4 tiny babies. She tested positive for FIV, but the shelter staff couldn't bear to think about this little family not making it out alive.
So, Nola and her 4 kittens are now available for adoption! She is a very healthy girl and will likely live a normal lifespan. Learn more about FIV and how to care for an FIV+ cat here.
Nola should be available for adoption by the end of May, 2022, when her kittens will be fully weaned and she is spayed. But you can start the application process and be ready to bring her home as soon as she is ready!

This dapper gentleman is Figaro. Not only is he handsome he is also very intelligent and inquisitive. In addition to climbing and jumping, he enjoys cardio on the cat wheel (like a hamster wheel, but bigger and way cooler). Like most cats in rescue Figaro's story isn't a joyous one. He was abandoned at Camp Kitty earlier this year when his human boarded him and never picked him up. It has been a jarring experience for him, but the folks at Camp Kitty are doing their best to make sure he's comfortable. He's not the most cuddly cat as he prefers to lay next to you instead of in your lap. And he's very vocal (he makes a distinct "waaaa" sound).
Figaro needs to go to a home with an experienced cat person. You do not want him to be your first cat. He can be a little spicy and will swat/lightly bite completely unprovoked. Of course, you need to consider he is in a facility with many other cats. The staff at Camp Kitty believe he is both bored and overstimulated - that's certainly a cat conundrum. He would probably relax if he wasn't surrounded by so many other cats. It would probably be best if he went to a home as an only cat. He has been around kittens that are younger than him, and he peacefully coexisted with them.
Figaro has had a tough 2022 being abandoned and having to adjust to a new place and lifestyle that he doesn't really care for. Physically he is in fantastic health. He's current on all his vaccines and is FeLV/FIV negative. And he eats like a champ!
