AARF Pet Central is the best place in town to buy your dog and cat supplies! We offer a wide variety of healthy and affordable foods, fun and durable toys, tasty chews and treats and tons of good stuff for good pets. We strive to offer the best customer service while you shop for the best products at the best prices in town!
We are located in the heart of Stone Mountain Village, right in the middle of Main St, and within easy access to Highway 78 and I-285. We’re open 7 days a week, including late hours on weekdays!
We have a cat adoption center at AARF Pet Central, where 10-12 cats live while they wait for their forever homes. They have rooms that they share with small groups of friends and a large open space with plenty of cat trees, soft couches and a big window to watch the world. The proceeds from AARF Pet Central help support our adoptable cats and dogs and community programs.
We also run a community pet food pantry, offer low-cost vaccine clinics and spay/neuter days, and host fundraisers for our programs at AARF Pet Central.
We do our research
Our goal is to provide the healthiest, cleanest and most nutritious foods at the best prices. If we wouldn’t feed it to our own pets, we don’t sell it.
We don’t sell any foods with corn, wheat, soy, by-products, artificial colors or proven dangerous ingredients. We try to focus on products made in the USA from sustainable, organic and recycled materials whenever possible.
We build relationships
It’s important to us that we know you and you know us. We want to be your partner in choosing the best foods, supplements, treats, toys and other supplies for your pets.
Our Director has completed a degree in pet nutrition and all of our staff have completed nutritional and product training. We want to be your advocate and your pet’s advocate in choosing products to help create a happy and healthy life.
We taste everything
Well, WE don’t taste everything, but our pets do! Before we add any new products to our store, we test them with our own pets and the AARF foster pets. If they all give a big thumbs down, we don’t add the products to our shelves.
At least 50% of our testers have to approve before a new food, treat or toy is sold at APC.
