Some stories feel like they were always meant to end this way… and Birdie’s is one of them.

She was trapped by our TNR team, but the moment she arrived at the vet, it was clear—she wasn’t feral. She was tiny, fragile, and purring through it all, quietly asking for help.

Too small for spay surgery, Birdie was treated for an upper respiratory infection and a painful eye infection. Her right eye developed significant scar tissue, leaving her with limited vision. Returning her to a colony was no longer safe.

So we said yes.

But Birdie had her own plan. She went straight into a loving foster home—and never needed to come into AARF at all. 💛

Because she was already home.

Birdie is a true foster success and will be staying with the family who loved her from the very beginning—the place she was always meant to be. 🐾
