Volunteer of the month
The mission of Atlanta Animal Rescue Friends, Inc. is to end pet overpopulation. We strive to accomplish our mission through three main objectives.
April 16 -- save the date! It's time for the AARFstravaganza!
Meet Dash the Dynamite! This adorable, active and outgoing boy is waiting for his forever home!
We are creating a world where every pet matters.
Our Volunteer of the Month is foster parent and volunteer extraordinaire, Sierra Beland. Sierra started volunteering with us a few months ago after attending our Cat Adoption Room Orientation. Shortly after, she started fostering dogs. She always arrives at adoption events early to help with set up or to transport additional dogs. She has also helped with putting up flyers and some of our other volunteer projects! Sierra has always loved animals and wanted to let everyone who is considering fostering know, "I recommend it to anyone. If you think your home may be too small, my apartment is 600 square feet and my foster didn't care. He was just happy to be out of the shelter." Thank you, Sierra, for always going the extra mile.
For almost 15 years, Atlanta Animal Rescue Friends has worked to create a world where every pet matters. We strive to help homeless pets find homes and help pets stay with their families for their whole lives.
Every person can play a part in creating a world where every pet matters. Find your place and join the team!
